CC2 provides educational science enrichment on a variety of topics in a fun learning environment. Members receive a membership card for free admission to The Oakes Museum of Natural History, a CC2 t-shirt, and a certificate for three (3) free admissions to bring a friend.
Grades 6, 7, 8 - Saturdays and Summer Camps
CC2 - 2023 - Saturdays - 12:15-2:30
January 14th: Trash Eaters! Discover what animals happily eat trash and how this helps them survive!
February 4th: Cells and ‘Scopes! Use Microscopes to see plant and animals cells—the building blocks of life!
February 11th: Colors, Colors Everywhere! Learn how colors are made, and what makes each color different.
March 4th: Tree of Life! Trace life from Amoebas to Zebras as you learn about the world of Animals!
March 18th: React! Perform chemical reactions, categorize acids and bases, and learn more about chemistry!
April 1st: Animal Super Senses Discover the super senses of lions, butterflies, owls and other animals!
Price - $20 per individual/activity
Or pay $100 for all six activities and save $20!
Pre-registration and pre-payment is required as space is limited.
Summer Camp
Our summer camps are weeklong, half-day camps, running 9-noon each day. The cost is $150/camper and there is a before care option for $25.
July 10-14 - Ecology Camp!
The world is complex! Learn about the interactions between different life forms and their environments with hands on observations and experiments in the museum and the living laboratory of campus.

Curator Club Mission Statement
Fulfilling part of the Oakes Museum mission, the Curator Club is a multifaceted science enrichment program for community children, grades 3 to 8. The program provides scientifically-based, hands-on learning experience for the participants, challenging them to explore and question their world.
