Bachelor's + Pharm.D. Early Assurance Program for Doctor of Pharmacy through LECOM

The Bachelor’s + Pharm.D. Early Assurance Program (EAP) leading to a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is the result of a collaboration between Messiah University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Students will complete their Bachelors’ degree at Messiah University and then proceed to LECOM to obtain their Pharm.D. degree.  This early assurance program (EAP) is open to high school students who are accepted to and plan to attend Messiah University and current Messiah University students prior to the start of their junior year.  This EAP is comprised of two phases.  Phase I is defined as the years of undergraduate education while at Messiah University.  (Note: This means that applicants must have a total four years of college credits prior to entering this program.  In some cases, students who enter Messiah with a full year’s worth of college credits, or take additional credits while at Messiah, may actually graduate in three years prior to entering this program.)  Phase II consists of the pharmacy school education while at LECOM and its associated clinical training sites. Phase one is outlined here.

There are two possible paths to enter this program.

Qualifying High School Seniors are current accepted Messiah University applicants.

Non-Qualifying High School Seniors and Current Messiah University Students are current Messiah students who have completed their sophomore year, including students who did not qualify as high school students to apply to this program.
