Frequently asked questions about the business and leadership program

Messiah College offers an MBA with concentrations in digital marketing; management; organizational and strategic communications; social entrepreneurship; and strategic leadership. A dietetics concentration is available to those who have completed the dietetic internship. We also off an M.A. in strategic leadership as well as graduate certificates in digital marketing; management; organizational and strategic communications; social entrepreneurship; and strategic leadership.

Yes, the courses for all of our graduate programs in business and leadership are fully online.

Each certificate program is 12 credits (four courses) and can be completed in as little as one year.

This degree program is 30 credits and can be completed in as little as 18 months.

This degree program is 36 credits and can be completed in as little as two years.

Yes, should you decide to pursue the M.A. in strategic leadership or the MBA you may apply credits taken as part of your certificate program studies.

Yes, Messiah College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Higher Education (3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104-2680. Telephone: 267-284-5000). Middle States is the highest accrediting authority recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for degree-granting colleges and universities located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and several other locations internationally.

Certain disciplines of study may pursue program specific accreditation in addition to regional accreditation. For example, Messiah College’s undergraduate program in business is also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The undergraduate program is due for reaffirmation in 2021, at which time the graduate business and leadership program will be added to this accreditation and is expected to be approved. All current and future graduate business and leadership students’ degrees will be grandfathered-in and be considered ACBSP accredited based upon this approval.
