Eligibility Requirements:
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is black, Hispanic, or Native American (American Indian, Eskimo, Hawaiian, or Samoan) with a minimum 2.8 GPA (minimum 3.0 GPA in science and mathematics) studying in the field of earth science education, geochemistry, geology, geophysics, hydrology, meteorology, physical oceanography, or planetary geology. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. Selection is based upon academic excellence, financial need, and potential for professional success.
