Residence Director for Naugle Hall
Beth Moshier joined the Messiah University family in August 2017.
Beth was born in Baltimore, MD and grew up in a large suburb outside of Detroit, MI. She attended Messiah College, majored in Psychology, and served as an RA for two years. Having loved her experience in Residence Life, she went on to become a hall director at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT while she pursued her Master's degree in Community Counseling. After graduation, she turned her attention to social work and worked as medical case manager and housing support specialist for an AIDS non-profit in Hartford, CT for 6 years. In December 2015, she felt led to leave New England and moved to Upland, IN to spend time with her family and prayerfully consider her next career steps. She volunteered with a local after-school literacy program before taking a job at Taylor University in the Registrar’s office. Her daily interactions with college students re-ignited her passion for student development and she is overjoyed to return to Messiah as an RD and give back to a place that shaped her life in so many ways. In her free time, Beth enjoys running, reading, yoga, cycling, music, and any activity that involves friends, coffee, good food, and great conversation.
