Position Title: Graduate Assistant, Position Coordinator
Department: Athletics
Reports To: Head Men's Lacrosse Coach
Supervises: Student Athletes
Education Required: Bachelor's degree required; current (or intended) enrollment in one of the degrees within the graduate program in Higher Education at Messiah University.
Experience Required: Previous coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level.

Special Working Conditions: Occasional weekend and evening work as priorities demand.
Primary Duties:
Assist students in developing an educational plan and strategy to improve student success |
Help our players learn the importance of working hard, and giving a maximum effort to improve grades. |
Assist in all camps and clinics hosted by the team unless otherwise asked. |
Refer students to internal programs for additional support services including tutoring and counseling and follow up as needed. |
Assist Head Coach with position coordination. |
Assist with Fall and Summer recruiting. |
Monitor and follow up on early alerts from faculty, advisors or other campus partner offices. |
Aid in filling out academic notification reports to Faculty members. |
Help with team event coordination |
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance. |
Secondary Duties:
Hold film sessions with student athletes |
Help in daily practice planning. |
Help players in one-on-one training sessions. |
Help in the scouting of opponents. |
Other duties as assigned. |
