About us
The mission of the Messiah University Department of Biological Sciences is to be a teaching and learning community focused on the biological sciences, in the context of a vibrant Christian faith.
In support of this mission, our program strives to reach the following goals of student development:
- Knowledge: To provide both breadth and depth of content across the biological disciplines.
- Competence: To develop essential technical, analytical, and communicative abilities for employment or medical, graduate, or professional education.
- Virtue: To forge a personal worldview that integrates Christian faith and science for a life of service, leadership, and reconciliation.
