MSAT educational facilities

The MSAT program courses and labs are located primarily in the Athletic Training Suite in the Eisenhower Campus Center, Messiah University’s recreation and athletics facility. The dedicated athletic training instructional space includes a classroom, a spacious athletic training lab and clinic space. Students will also study at the fully equipped cadaver lab at the Winding Hill campus and have access to the Human Performance Lab and the Falcon Fitness Center for collaboration and research. Messiah also partners with Phoenix Physical Therapy to offer an onsite PT, OT and AT clinic.

Athletic Training Lab

Messiah University features a 1,750 square-foot athletic training lab fully equipped to provide students access to leading simulation equipment and tools necessary for all aspects of patient care.

Human Performance Lab

The Department of Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science at Messiah University has two well-equipped labs for the assessment of various aspects of musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary function located in the Jordan/Kline Science Center. These lab spaces allow students to apply principles learned in the classroom and develop familiarity with equipment commonly used in the exercise physiology field.

Cadaver Lab

Located at Messiah University’s Winding Hill campus, the cadaver lab features a fully equipped wet and dry lab for anatomical study.

Classroom

Dedicated classroom space allows students additional space for instruction and group/independent study. This space is equipped with dual-purpose desks/treatment tables and teaching technology to allow for video conferencing and use of web-based tools.

Falcon Fitness Center

The Falcon Fitness Center is an impressive 14,374 square feet and filled with state of the art cardiovascular, strength training, and group exercise equipment. The center’s mission is to make fitness opportunities accessible to all individuals on campus, regardless of one’s fitness level and background.
