Graduate Assistant, Wrestling
Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Head Wrestling Coach, the graduate assistant will perform duties related to the University’s wrestling program. This is a two year, 20 hours/week, appointment not to exceed 800 hours/year. Commitment runs from approximately August 5th –May 31st each of the two years. Messiah University campus.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree required; current enrollment in one of the degrees within the graduate program in Higher Education at Messiah University.
Experience Required: College wrestling experience required; some experience coaching at camps and clinics preferred.

Special Working Conditions: Required to work weekends and evenings as needed; valid driver's license.
Primary Duties:
- Assist student athletes in development of athletic, spiritual and personal growth.
- Physically participate in practice sessions.
- Watch film and work one on one with student athletes as needed.
- Assist Head Wrestling coach with administrative duties related to hosting events, scheduling travel, and facility management.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
