Payment Options

There are many ways students and families can choose to pay tuition. Here at SFS, our counselors can help you navigate and choose which payment options and methods are best for you.

Payment Occurences

Students can choose whether they would like to make payments towards their student account balances by the semester due date or set-up a Monthly Payment Plan:

  • Semester payments of the entire balance are due for the Fall Semester by mid August and beginning of January for the Spring Semester.  Students can Choose to make these payments
  • Monthly payment plan options for undergraduate students can be selected through CashNet. Students will need to give access to parents or authorized users who will be accessing CashNet.
    • There is a one-time $35 setup fee for each payment plan you enroll into.Please note: new incoming students who have paid their deposit will be able to access CashNet and payment plans starting June 6.

Payment Methods

  • Electronic Check (ACH) payment options include ACH (e-check), Processor fees are not added to ACH payments. ACH payments must be done through the eBill site. Be sure to write the students ID number in the memo line.

  • Credit Card- American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. A 2.75% processor fee is added to credit card payments. Credit card  payments must be done through the eBill site.

  • Mail in- Payments may also be mailed (Be sure to write the students ID number in the memo line.) to:

  • Flywire has now been conveniently integrated with CashNet. You can pay internationally by using a third-party source that partners with Messiah University called Flywire. Check out our International Payment page for more information. 

  • 529 Savings Plan- Many 529 plans can now be used to make payments online through CashNet, but not all 529 vendors and/or plans are currently supported. Your 529 vendor may also assess a service fee.
